Nokia Ovi App Store
From the looks of it, Nokia Ovi Store is starting to pick up at a little speed. In fact, we believe that in year 2009, Android market become the top. It doesn’t seem like Ovi Store could ever topple the App Store or even Android Market and there’s a lot of improvement need to be done.
Many people mentioned that Ovi Store probably needs another 7 years to get to where Apple’s App Store stands today. The only big advantage of the Ovi Store is that the downloads include things that aren’t really apps, such as themes, wallpapers, and media. However, I’m quite disappointed with the way things are going. I don’t want to be stuck to downloading ringtones and wallpapers only; I need more useful apps on the Ovi Store for my coming new phone Nokia N97 mini.
People keep on discussing can the Ovi Store grow against Apple’s App Store or the Android Market, and people found no answer for it. Only time will tell.
