HTC Aria

The HTC Wildfire comes with FM Radio which is not present in HTC Aria. But, the Aria is a slightly lighter and smaller device than Wildfire.

Besides, HTC Wildfire comes with 5 MP, 2592 x 1944 pixels, autofocus, LED flash Camera. But, HTC Aria has 5 MP, 2592 x 1944 pixels, autofocus only.

One good point about HTC Aria is it possesses 320 x 480 pixels, 3.2 inches display size while the Wildfire contains only 240 x 320 pixels, 3.2 inches display size. So, HTC Aria has a better resolution.

In the aspect of memory and processing, the HTC Aria provides Qualcomm MSM 7227 600 MHz processor CPU while the Wildfire provides Qualcomm MSM 7225 528 MHz processor CPU. Both also got 512 MB ROM, 384 MB RAM Internal Memory.

I personally want to find this kind of phone (HTC Wildfire) since long time ago as it’s very pocketable phone with everything inside. If not mistaken, HTC Wildfire is the next generation of earlier HTC Android phone called HTC desire. If you’re planning to buy it, then do research and this is the price range RM1095 – 1125 that I can get while for AP phone is in between RM 950 – 980 which is obviously much more cheaper that HTC Aria.

I think HTC EVO 4G is the hottest Android phone on the market today. The EVO 4G has received tremendous reception, but the iPhone 4 will only release on 24th June, so how will the two phones stack up head-to-head?

Display

iPhone 4: 3.5 inch display with 960 x 640 pixel resolution

EVO 4G: 4.3 inch display with 800 x 480 pixel resolution

Cameras

iPhone 4: simple VGA front camera, rear camera with 5 megapixel, auto-focus, tap to focus, Xenon flash and the option of 720p HD video recording(30fps).

EVO 4G: front camera with 1.3 megapixel for video calling, rear camera with 8 megapixel, auto-focus, tap to focus, 2x LED flash and has 720p HD video recording(25fps).

Memory

iPhone 4: 16GB and 32GB

EVO 4G: 1GB internal but an SD slot can support up to 32GB cards

Both phone almost at same price which is $199. But, HTC EVO 4G offers one unique feature – the fastest data speeds available on a phone in the US. The iPhone 4 certainly cannot compete with that.

So, in the above comparisons HTC EVO is much ahead of iPhone 4, but when it comes to size and weight iPhone 4 wins the race which makes it very handy and light to carry.

Unlike other mobile manufacturers, it is quite hard to guess what Apple will add to every new version. But, based on many people prediction, iPhone 4 will come with:

i) 64GB Storage

Every year, Apple doubles the storage size. I believe this will be happened in year 2010 as the Flash memory price drops down.

ii) 5-megapixel camera with flash

This year, 5 megapixel camera phoneswith flash will have already conquered the top end of the market, leaving the iPhone’s 3.2-megapixel lagging behind.

This Google TV will make your television set more Internet savvy. The new android software will allow users to surf the Internet and download the tv widgets. So, if you are a Google fan, you may have more reasons to celebrate this month.

Google TV will run on Intel Atom processor running the Android operating system. It also will be implemented on BlueRay drives and Sony TVs along with keyboard come with remote control feature in partnership with Logitech.

I don’t think Google really need the cable companies support, one Internet connected device could be enough to meet user requirement in the future. Google TV project plans will deliver the integrated power of the web and television. The example of web content and online services that they are going to integrate like Twitter, Youtube, online games, web apps and the Google Search. So, let’s wait and see this coming project.

Many people mentioned that Ovi Store probably needs another 7 years to get to where Apple’s App Store stands today. The only big advantage of the Ovi Store is that the downloads include things that aren’t really apps, such as themes, wallpapers, and media. However, I’m quite disappointed with the way things are going. I don’t want to be stuck to downloading ringtones and wallpapers only; I need more useful apps on the Ovi Store for my coming new phone Nokia N97 mini.

People keep on discussing can the Ovi Store grow against Apple’s App Store or the Android Market, and people found no answer for it. Only time will tell.
